Blessed Sacrament School is very excited to welcome our new Principal, Dr. Gloria Castillo, as we look forward to the start of the 2018-2019 school year on August 29.
Dr. Castillo is a proud graduate of Azusa Pacific University with a Masters in Education and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership. In her own words: “I am a servant leader with a strong passion for Catholic education and the desire to continuously cultivate positive impact. I believe in promoting joy and excellence in teaching and learning. I am deeply committed to empowering and motivating educators as well as young minds. I strongly believe in the idea that it takes a village to raise a child. Therefore, I believe in the importance of having the entire school and parish community vested in being the village every child needs. Although I enjoy collaborating and sharing ideas, my greatest joy is working with a united team in the pursuit of student success. In short, my mission is to impart my passion for education, along with the traditions of Catholic education, to students in such a way that it positively impacts the entire community.”
We could not be more thrilled to have her leadership moving forward and hope you will take the opportunity to welcome her yourself in the coming months.
