Catholic Identity

Our Faith In Action

Daily Faith Formation

BSS students receive a robust education on the teachings and traditions of our Catholic faith through daily religion class and recital of the Rosary and the Angelus during school prayer.

Family & School Mass

Our students also have the opportunity to celebrate and profess their faith by attending mass weekly with their class as well as attending regular family and schoolwide masses.

Sacrament Preparation

Each year, students in grade 2 are prepared with great diligence to receive the Catholic sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion.

Saint of the Month

Every month, BSS highlights the extraordinary life and message of a different Catholic saint, incorporating their story into our classroom instruction, school assemblies and daily prayer offerings.

"Act justly, love tenderly, and walk humbly with God." - Micah 6:8

Christ is Our Center

Jesus Christ is the center of all that we do at Blessed Sacrament. Religion is taught and put into action daily. Students attend Mass weekly and are actively involved in roles of service through monthly projects. They participate in school-wide prayer on a daily basis as well as regular study of scripture. Students are also prepared for First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion during school hours with parental participation.

Our school motto of "act justly, love tenderly and walk humbly with God" is represented in everything that we do.
